Naughty is the New Nice!

This precious boy happens to be our nephew. We have been so blessed to have him and his Mom (Amy's sister) at our house the last few days. He had a great time playing in our little rocker and we took the opportunity to scoot the chair in front of the tree to get a couple of cute shots of him to help us remember his 2nd Christmas! In case you cannot read his t-shirt in its entirety, it reads, "Naughty is the New Nice!" Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Merry Christmas

We have finished up all of our orders for 2009 and are looking forward to the future in 2010. We would like to thank all of our new and past clients and hope to continue to help you document your life through the lens of a camera. Thanks so much for the great growth that we have had this year. We wish you a Merry Christmas and hope that the New Year treats you well. Please let us know if you need our assistance to document a day in your life. Here is a picture of our tree. I know it looks like there are no presents, but this was taken before they were there. Amy was very nice to me this year and we have tons of gifts waiting for Christmas Day. We are already booking weddings and portraits for 2010, please contact us to setup a time to discuss your wedding or portrait time. Thanks again.

Two Too Cute

Two too cute. That is what we think about these four year old twin boys. We expected to have our hands full with these cowboys and instead had one of the most easy going, fun photo shoots ever. These gentlemen were absolutely a blast to work with and there is just not a bad picture of them! Can you tell them apart?

Story Time

Last weekend, we had the opportunity to take some pictures of the Kimbrell family. These precious babies were troopers (and the adults were too!) for their 'in house" photo shoot. We had a blast capturing some precious images of this brother and sister duo. Our favorite image of the day is definitely big sister reading the story of Christmas to baby brother. Enjoy!

Thankful for Four Generations

In a kindergarten classroom, when students were asked what they were most thankful for, an overwhelming number named a long, careful list of family members. The same would probably be said by the loved ones in this precious image. On Thanksgiving day, in a matter of minutes, the McElroy family living room turned into a studio to capture a few family photos. In this shot, there are four generations represented. You see Nell and her son Mike, as well as Mike's daughter, Heather and her son, Graham. These lovely individuals also happen to be Amy's Grandmother, Dad, sister, and nephew. We are so thankful for our families!

A Fireman and A Teacher

A Sunday afternoon in downtown Opelika was the setting for this great shot of this stunning couple. We had the privilege to do a shoot with our friends Anthony and Valerie for their Christmas card. Our time with them reminded us yet again of why we love taking pictures, especially of the people we love. There is just something about capturing all the best emotions of this life on the faces of two people that love each other so dearly. Thanks to Anthony and Valerie for entertaining our ideas and being so delightful to work with!
