Spring Blooms

The blooms on the campus of Auburn University came almost as fast as they went. The beautiful orange blooms that were in the background of Fisher Ogle's pictures were wilted away. But we didn't let that ruin our day. We had the privilege of spending Sunday with Karen and Bo. We love it when people find us online. If you know anyone that is looking for some excellent photography for a good price send them our way. If they book a wedding session you will get paid.

Spring has arrived

The long trip to Cincinnati was well worth it today when we got the chance to pick up our cameras and start shooting. The David Ziser master class so far has been great, but after a full day of class time I was ready to pick up my camera. Here are a few of my favorites from one of our Brides named Brandy. All girls aren't willing to give me a fashion look, but in this case, its what I wanted. More to come later in the week.

Rain Rain Go Away

Right now I am sitting in the car riding back to Opelika. Lucky for me Adrian, with www.adrianfreemanphotography.com, is driving for me. Its a long way and I drove all the way here, so we are happy to be headed home. The week was long and on Wednesday we shot pictures until about 9:30pm. Got some great images of Cincinnati overlooking the Ohio River Valley. I want to recommend David Ziser's Digital Pro Talk blog as one of the most informative blogs for photographers. If you are an aspiring photographer David has officially become one of my instructors and teachers of lighting and composition. Ziser does what he does better than anyone else. Check him out on the web at www.Digitalprotalk.com, He has some of the best tutorials on Adobe Lightroom and general photography that you can find anywhere. I would also like to recommend to everyone to attend one of his classes if he is in the area.

As far as Auburn Heritage Photography, we are going to really work on getting our site up to date and move into the new age of photography which is lots of cool digital stuff. Amy is going to have her hands full trying to learn from what I learned over the last few weeks. If anyone has any questions regarding our photography or what we are working towards just contact us.

Our latest deal is a $90 11x14 print for free with the booking of either our top two wedding packages. Call or email us for information.

Artsy Bridal

Currently I am in a class in Cincinnati with one of the world's best Wedding photographers. Part of what he is teaching is mostly composition using wide angle lenses and beautiful backgrounds. I am having a difficult time with the wide stuff, but I nailed this close up fashion style shot of Brandi. This girl has some great eyes and really poses so well and has a great attitude.

What a great Wedding

This was a great wedding with some really great people. We often are blown away at the types of people that we meet while taking pictures. This couple was one of those. Anthony and Johonna are very special people and really explode with love for each other and for our God. Every person that said something at their wedding described them both as amazing individuals that will only do more together than what they can do alone. This is really what marriage is supposed to be. We love being involved in weddings like this. It was a great day with some really awesome people.

A Beautiful Bride

I have been waiting for days to post some more pictures of our most recent wedding with Jami and Darren. They  got hitched on March 13.
